Why Legacy Document Archive?


Legacy Document Archive creates a repository for legacy business documents from one or more previous systems so that they can be accessed and searched within Business Central. This allows users easy access to these documents in a similar method to Business Central's posted documents.

LDA allows Historical Posted Transactions such as Sales Invoices, Sales Credit Memos, Purchase Invoices, and Purchase Credit Memos with their associated attachments and comments to be imported into Business Central. These documents will retain their data but can be formatted to look similar to Business Central versions. They can be accessed and have the same look and feel as the transactions created natively within Business Central. You can import documents from any system that can export them to Excel and then import them through Configuration Packs.
